Andy Miller

Andy began his insurance career shortly after his graduation from the University of Central Florida in 1993. He went to work for Colonial Life & Accident selling cafeteria plans (cancer, disability, etc.) to local businesses.

After a year at Colonial, he then went to work for Auto-Owners Insurance Company in their Lakeland branch as a field auditor. Throughout his 11 years with A-O, Andy was able to work in a variety of positions, from auditing to commercial underwriting to claims and finally in marketing.

In May of 2005, he accepted a position as commercial lines producer in the family business, Lee Reed Insurance. For several years, he has acted as the agency manager.

Andy is married to his college sweetheart, Kim, and they have two wonderful kids, Emily and Jackson. Andy loves to fish, golf and work outside when time permits. Born and raised in rural, western Iowa, Andy is a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan and he loves all sports.

On January 1st of 2018, Kim and Andy purchased Lee Reed Insurance from Kim’s parents, Sam and Linda Surratt. They feel blessed by the opportunity and are confident that they will be able to continue to run the agency as Sam and Linda did by always putting the customer first.
