Lee Reed Insurance FAQs
What forms of payment do you accept?
The acceptable forms of payment depend in large part on the carrier you are insured through, so you should consult your specific carrier’s FAQ page on our website. Please note, we do not accept cash or money orders.
Where are you located?
We are located in historic downtown Zephyrhills, FL at 38511 5th Avenue, right next to Lamplighter Furniture and across the street from the town clock.
What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM until 4:00PM. We do not close for lunch.
Can I make a appointment?
We do not work on an appointment basis, we are strictly a “first come, first serve” office. We give priority service to walk-in customers. Generally, there are minimal wait times to see one of our associates.
Why am I unable to get a live person on the phone at times?
As mentioned above, we give priority service to our walk-in customers. At peak times, especially during the “Snow Bird” season (from November through April), or at times when we are short-handed because of illness or vacations, each of our staff may have a customer at their desk the majority of the day and they are unable to answer their phones at those times. We do increase our staff presence during the season but it is not feasible for us to get to every call as it comes in. We have tried to alleviate this problem by having an automated attendant that can provide options to callers to go to a specific employee, make a payment, hold for a personal lines agent, or leave a general voicemail message. While the system is not perfect, we feel it is the best option for our business at this time.We do close our doors at 4:00PM daily but our staff is here until at least 5:00PM (and often much later). We do this so that they can use that hour to finish up those things that they were unable to get to earlier in the day, like return phone calls. We do our best to return each call by the end of the day. At times, because of the volume of calls, we are unable to do this but we make every effort to return the call as soon as possible.
